Beckett land

I’ve been watching lots of Beckett lately.  The whole four disk set of Beckett on Film series.

Love that sense you get that your life is now in Beckett land, you can see how nearly every move would look to an audience watching a Beckett play, if your life were a Beckett play.

Which of course in enough ways that count, it might well be.  Might as well be.  Is.

Whether you like that or not.

As if you had a say.

A choice.

A word.

One Response to Beckett land

  1. I assume by Beckett you are referring to the one and only Samuel Beckett. “Waiting for Godot” is one of my favorite plays of all time. Last year I wrote a paper on “Waiting for Godot”, Albee’s “Zoo Story” and Sartre’s “No Exit” and the existential themes throughout them all. It was an incredibly enjoyable piece of writing.
