tuna and chicken salad, evenly divided, two bags of Miss
Vickies Sea Salt & Vinegar chips, one bottle of Jamaican ginger beer
& one bottle of water we brought in from the car
bright and sunny day
still chill & windy (not breezy)

for dinner

curious to see Bill Jensen’s early work
better catalog of Five Painters arrived
yesterday
incredibly pristine condition
like it had been wrapped in plastic for twenty
years but it didn’t even feel like that
it feels new and old
old but not just like new in book trade parlance
but really feels new
yet aged, old paper but not yellowed with age
just older
and mint fresh
not even one scratch or curled edge
